WorthOut

Private net worth tracker

Your net worth, kept private.

See everything you own and owe as one number, and watch it change over time. You enter your balances once a month; WorthOut encrypts them on your device and keeps them in your own cloud storage. No bank logins, and no account to create.

Free to use. Pro is €9.99, once.

How it works

A few minutes, once a month

WorthOut is built around a monthly check-in rather than a bank connection, so you see your whole picture without handing anyone your logins.

  1. 1

    Add your accounts

Savings, investments, your home and your pension, and what you owe on a mortgage, a loan or a card. In any currency.

  2. 2

    Update your balances

Once a month, type in what each account holds. Anything you leave blank carries forward from last time, and your phone can remind you on the day you choose.

  3. 3

    Watch it change

Your net worth, its chart and every account’s history, with what moved it each month.

Private by design

Nobody else can read your numbers. Not even us.

WorthOut has no server holding your data and no accounts to sign up for. Everything is encrypted on your device, with a passphrase only you know, before it’s saved anywhere.

See exactly who sees what
  • Encrypted on your device

Balances, account names and notes are encrypted before they’re saved anywhere, with a key only your passphrase can open.

  • Kept in your own cloud

Your vault is a folder of encrypted files in your Google Drive. WorthOut can only see the files it made there.

  • No account, no bank logins

There’s nothing to sign up for and no bank connection to trust. You type in your balances yourself.

  • Only you hold the keys

A recovery key, saved when you start, opens your vault if you forget your passphrase. We can’t reset either, by design.

Questions

Good to know

Can WorthOut see my balances?
No. They’re encrypted on your device before they’re saved, with a key protected by your passphrase, which never leaves your devices. Our only server signs Pro licences and never receives financial data.
Does it connect to my bank?
No, on purpose. You type your balances in, usually once a month, so no bank login is ever shared and nothing breaks when a bank changes its systems.
What if I forget my passphrase?
Use the recovery key you saved when you started; it lets you set a new passphrase. Without either, nobody can open your vault, us included.
Which cloud storage does it use?
Google Drive, for now. WorthOut can see only the files it created there, and those are encrypted. More storage options are on the way.
Can I use it on my computer?
Yes, on Windows, Mac or Linux. Open the web app in your browser, or install it as a desktop app with the Install as an app button in Settings › About (in Chrome or Edge).
Is there an iPhone app?
An iPhone app is coming soon.
What happens if WorthOut ever stops?
Your vault stays in your Google Drive and you can export everything. Pro licences are checked on your device, so they don’t depend on our server.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is €9.99, once, and it unlocks every device that opens your vault.
